I am just glad I didn't shatter any of the planting pots I had gto sort through at work today.

I wanted to take a nap when I got home but couldn't because I had to wait for a delivery.
New modem is here now, let's hope it will hold longer than two weeks like the last one. I don't need to see smoking things again.
Talking about internet and computers, I am also staring at the iMac one of the discounters is now offering in their online shop. So tempted, it looks all pretty there.

I think I am going to read a little and then go to bed. So not up to going through my flist or anything.

The only thing I have been doing besides work and editing is watching swimming. The thing is that I still don't really can't watch Aaron without getting excited but I feel all sorts of detached from it as well.
I cheered fro RyRy and Eric though, hehe taking down Phelps' WRs must be fun.

I just sat on my windowsill and watched rather cool fireworks.
The local football club officially re-opened their new stadium today. They had to built new sections to accomodate the rules of the higher league they managed to enter this year.
Therefore a friendly was held between the club and Hertha BSC (the first league club of the city). I didn't even need to watch the game on TV, I could hear everything that was going on just fine.
Yes the stadium is that close. Anyway awesome fireworks and I didn't even need to leave my room.

Was shopping after work today and it's sort of cool to have some money when sales are going on.
I scored two pairs of earings as well as a sweater, the later for only 2.50.
Oh and I got my Dakine accessory bag for the backback I bought some weeks ago.
This sort of let my love for Dakine grew even more. Not only were they supper fast with delivering it they also put some small but cute suprises in it, like sheets of stickers with all the current Dakine logos and a chip for the mall trolleys.

Nothing else to tell.
My organisational skills concerning my thesis still seem to be hide somewhere. Can't find them anymore.
I am so massively stuck that I am this close to panicking. Not yet though, am still trying to get it done.
I am also reading books that have nothing to do with my thesis, which sort of helps trying to calm down again.
The thing is that I want to write either a Sam/Dean or a J2 version of one of the books. So not good. I can't use more distractions.

Also, US Nationals are going on and I sort of don't care. No, that isn't right I do care I just don't stay awake the whole night watching races on Live Timing.

Short prelims post... because I am actually studying on the side (or pretend to..).
Watching prelims almost always leaves me kind of angry at some of the guys (and girls). No matter if I am there to see it live or watch it on the screen.
Just now Aaron kind of scared the hell out of me... he qualified for the semis tonight (which I hate btw.. I hate semi finals) but he was just 6th. Randall kicked butt though, as did Ryan.

KLete qualified as well and I am praying for him to make it into finals.
Larsen once again was the surprise of the race. Was actually 2nd fastest qualifier in his 200m free heat.. And he always said the short races aren't for him. Guess coach Salo saw that differently.

Amanda!!! Amanda qualified for semis, too. Wheeeee.
Natalie broke the WR in the prelims, after it was broken in the heat before hers (kind of reminds me of Barcelona and that 100m Fly race).

ETA: God I so miss seeing them live. Right now I actually wish I could be there and watch, even though I know it probably would break my heart to see some of them not make it.

I am still kind of shocked with myself. I think I am about to book a flight to London to see Steve and Jason in concert.
And it all started with evil_witch666 and me talking about Jensen's newest film project and ended with talking about going to London.

OH MY GOD. I can't believe I am really doing it.

Speaking of sports, the Golden Goggles Nominees are out. And I have to admit that I did not vote for either Mike nor Aaron (well okay, I did vote for Aaron in one category).
I am actually supporting RyRy and Kate Ziegler, but yeah Mike is leading so far and it's fan-vote based this year. *headdesk*
Anyway, I am just really, really amused by Mark Warkentin being in the poll as well. Dude, Mark! That is so weird.
And Klete is nominated with the relay. The USC/Trojans guys are ganging up this year.

OMG Ryan! Aaron lost his first 200m back race in 6 years and his world record. Of course I am sad about it but not overly. It was bound to happen and well it was Ryan after all.
I don't know but I feel sad but excited as well. I don't mind Ryan being the one. I am surprised by myself (I mean I was crying over Klete for God's sake), I would have thought that I was at least feeling more shattered or something. But it is Ryan and well the way Aaron reacted was indicating that he knew it was going to happen as well. (It's like the Crocker-Mike 100m Fly race, one of them will win it).
Oh well, might give Aaron something to do and think about. And I might not be so sad because he has the 100 title and probably the relay start.

So I actually was looking forward to the US Open. And what happens? Aaron withdraws from the meet completely, Klete drops like a stone (Come one Klete, you don't need to drop like that, it is called a "start" after all.) and gets 10th in the 400m free prelims (Go Peter, you are are in the A-Final. At least one of the wolves. Yay for Vanderkaays.) and Erik gets DQed.
What they hell did Bob do to the boys? Well okay, that Mike wins the 200m back prelims was expected but Ryan not making the final? Well at leats he made it in the IMs.. oh and BJ is back? Hehe.
I guess the season is over for some of the guys.

I feel random. It's probaly the heat. I want to do so many things but I can't get myself to do them. I want to redesign Klete-Keller.com and be finsihed before the Nationals start.
I want to finish drables and post them. And I actually want to start with one of the three papers I have to write.
