This entry will be full of cuts.
Spent yesterday buying new pillows for my bed and ended up getting 2 new sets bed sheets as well. I mean for1.99 it's not like I spent big money there.
But I got Swedish licorice and strawberry flavored Snörren (laces) as well. Even my cat got stuff since she needed new toys anyway.I almost bought three Veronicas Mars boxsets a 10,- but thought about it and let it be. It's nopt like I need it all that badly.
But SPN is on sale as well and I was tempted even though I already have those, the only difference would be the languages on the boxes.
Oh, bit I got a new bag and I am sort of in love with it.
Before I went shopping I had to get up early to drive to the employment center for a second day in a row. I had to get a signature so that I can actually be part of the program.
Thjose of you following me on Twitter know it already. I'll be in Hungary for three months from September on. That is if I don't find a 'real' job before that. Anyway, it's a EU program I apllied for and they decided to take me. I had to go to an interview on Monday and well turned out that places in Pardua (Italy) and Szezchin (Poland) were just two weeks away and I wouldn't have been able to get everything done needed for those places. So there was either Bournemouth, which was already full and would have meant waiting list for me or Budapest. I took the later. I'll still be getting all the money I am getting now and the EU commission is nice enought to pay for flights and boarding there and will pay me day money for emergencies as well. I'll have an internship in a compnay they'll choose for me based on my qualifications and wishes. The intership will be in English and I'll be going there with a group and a mentor.
It's sounds exciting and scary at the same time.
It might mean a job afterwards or just something to put on my résumé and I'll have to looking for a job anway.
I'll keep on looking now because yeah, am not giving up just yet.

Spent today at my grandparent's place. Had awesome asparagus soup and helped my grandma with her new flowers she received today.
I got a new sheep.
, which they bought for me in Hamburg.
Managed to get the podfics I wanted from my grandpa's PC and they work. I still don't get it why it doesn't work with my laptop.
Hehe, NBC is still sending me mails about Aaron. Which is sort of nice because I get all the info, can still put them on the blog and don't have to looking for them myself.
Speaking of swimming, I don't know what to think about the rumors that Ian Thorpe wants to try a comeback.
Tried to add more scenes to Big Bang and failed spectacularly. Seems like I need a longer break before I go back to this story.
I am all blah about it and I don't even really care that my fic isn't claimed yet by an artist. If it ends up being a pity claim, who cares...
Didn't even have time to go through all the summaries yet. Wull do that later.

I think the earliest thing is from when I was three. My mom was away (she told me later she was in our new apartment getting it ready for me and her) and there was a thunderstorm. My father was supposed to look after me but he didn't. He wasn't even there. He left a three-year-old child alone. Not to mention during a thunderstorm. I remember sitting in my bed, seeing the flashes and hearing the thunder and the rain and being afraid of all the shadows in my room. I think I remember crying a lot, even shouting but no one was there. My mom later told me that our neighbor heard me and called my grandma who then came around midnight and staywed with me. She was my father's mother and was very pissed at him for beinig out drinking.
I was afraid of thunderstorms for many years because of that. It's okay now.
Uhm, there is no cover yet of my favorite song. I doubt there will eve be one. But that's totally okay with me.

Date: 2010-05-06 07:20 am (UTC)Awww, I tend to do the same, so I try to train myself to be more brave. 'cause I can do those things if I just dare to, and you can do so as well. We're smart, we're good, we don't have any reason to be worried about our future. :)

Date: 2010-05-06 10:32 am (UTC)I probably should train myself, too. But of course I am worried about my future. But yeah, I think I need that as a new mantra or something. :)

Date: 2010-05-05 09:51 pm (UTC)It's not really a program from the AfA, they just have to give their okay. And yes it is especially for graduates, a program by the EU and paid for by the EU.

Date: 2010-05-06 09:25 am (UTC)Your summary sounds awesome (at least, I'm pretty sure I know which fic is yours). It's weird, but there are several fics that I think sound great that haven't been claimed yet while some of the, ummm, not so interested ones have been. Huh. *hugs*
And yay, Hungary sounds exciting!
no subject
Date: 2010-05-06 10:37 am (UTC)LOL, yeah I know what you mean.. But with the masses of stories there I think some just go unnoticed (especially if they are short). As an artists I'd take the one that I like first and which is still unclaimed.. ;)
But mine has been claimed now
*hugs back*
Oh it does, I hope it will be exciting.

Date: 2010-05-07 10:07 am (UTC)Yes, they totally are. They didn't have any licorice flavored ones but I love the strawberry ones more anyway.
