First things first:
Happy Birthday to
shiplessheathen and
kayotica!!!
Have a wonderfuly day guys!

Well, I don't have much to say I guess.
Oh Hi JDM.
Season 1 and 2 Sammy.. Awwwww.
Oh yes, I know why I never liked Higschool life like that.
They are all bitches.
And this? This brutal.
Oh... okay.
That kind of reminds me of Kryceck.
Sam in white scrubs again.
Costumes!!!
Chad Willett in the credits.. YAY!!
"What? bAare you crazy?"
Sam's face!
"I got an idea!"
Why doesn't that sound good from Sam? With this smirk...
Oh music..it's back again.
Okay, teen!Dean looks like Dean but he doesn't exactly has the act down... uhm.
Chad!!!!
"Not really."
Oh yes, brothers.
I like the way those school scenes are
shot.
Little!Sam is so much like Sam there. Helping the innocent.
Midget. Hahah.
So not going to be that for long.
Janitor!Sam... Costumes. Sorry, I am shallow there. I like costumes being back.
OMG!
That scene and the kids listening to Dean looking like that.. OMG
*giggles*
Fuck Dean. you are only a sub there.
*snorts*
But Sammy looks so good.
"The whislte makes me their God."
"Right."
Dean thinking about food.. of course.
Okay, this won't end well.. Home Economics shouldn't be this bloody.
OMG, training suit... in red.. on Dean.
anito suit on Sam.... They look fine.
Legal cheerleaders.. oh Dean.
I don't know.. but I doubt Dean would pick that movie as a date flick... I just don't think he would.
Magic fingers. Okay, yes it is an obsessions.
We haven't seen that in a long time. Salt 'n' Burn and the boys doing the job together.
I don't know but sometimes I think teen!Dean is kind of overacting.
It's not bad but sometimes it's a little too much.
But yeah, maybe Dean had to learn how to tone it down.
Oh my.. Sammy writting the truth and the teacher thinks it's fiction and still giving him and A because of the way he writes.
And it's already clear what Sam wants and doesn't want.
Really, no one has asked him what he wants before? Not even Dean?
"Just live the life you wanna live."
The pictures to that are sad.. Oh Sammy.
Oh... it knows Sam.
What a way to excorcise.
Heh, okay I think I take that line from Dean now.
A spirit possessing a body.
"You know everybody at this school?"
*snorts*
Sam beating up Dirk.. well he can obviously.
But this way he created Dirk?
Sammy. oh Sam.
No, don't feel guilty. You didn't know.
Also, man if they had know would they have let Dirk's mother die this way?
LOL
21. Jump Street.
Sammy isn't a bully or a jock.. that's so far from the true.
Oh boy.
"I am not evil." Oh Sam.. Oh Sam.
Dean's face when Sam is talking about evil and true evil...
Sam being smashed by a jock.
So typically Dean.. but Dean is a jerk there.
Amanda kinda knows what Dean is but she oculd have been a little less bitchy about it.
Oh Dean.. of course you are a hero.. just not there.
And then it's Sam showing up... so Sam is the real hero?
That's why Dean hates the school. Sam kinda liked it.
Oh.. oh Sam, talking to the teacher.. I have been waiting for this scene.
"You happy Sam?"
Ouch.
All in all I liked this episode a lot.
More than the last two. But I am not all that satisfied with teen!Dean, in the end though he kind of came through with giving depth to Dean's character.
Young!Sam though was great. He was Sam and I liked how the shot those scenes, how they managed to slip back and worth through the way the used the pictures there. I really like that.
I have been waiting for such an episode where you can see that some of the boy's actions actually have an impact, for the better or the worth. Sam feels guilty about being the one starting the bullying for Dirk but in the end it's Sam with his own words describing that this is life. You just can't know what a certain action, or a certain word can create in the future, what it might cut loose in the end. No one can and I think Sam is starting to see that as well.. even though he still has so much to think about to feel guilty about... and yes I think it is kind of obvious that he doesn't really know anymore if he is happy or he will ever be happy again. I think Sam has kind of lost the concept of *being happy* and well he might be happy in his own way as long as Dean is there (not in a wincesty way but in the family way.. just knowing that someone is sill there).
On a shallow note, God Jared looked good. Better than the two eps before. I liked what they did with him costume-wise and hair-wise.... and I love, like really love that they have that jacket back again.. :) Even young!Sam had a similar one.
But can I have Jensen in this red training suit again? Please?
So yes, all in all this was worthy for season 4 and I liked it for the brotherly moments and for the way they worked together. The way Dean tried to help Sam through talking to him, through reasoning with him. I liked the shallow reason why Dean hated that school, because in the end it wasn't shallow.. Dean was scared because someone was seeing him for what he was even though it as said out of spite and hurt dignity.. but it was the truth nonetheless.
I kind of also liked that while Dean insisted on being the hero Sam just was it. Without really trying or thinking about it. He was just Sam. He couldn't know what would happen because it... but as I said you never really know anyway.
The thing that Sam thanks his teacher and doesn't really think of how Dean gave up his childhood to care for Sam doesn't really make that much sense but I guess it does in this situation. I don't really know but I think it was supposed to show that Sam already was like that back in highschool. Is Sammy really that dependable and that much influenced by others? Liek now by Ruby or by the teacher?? Wjat about Dean. I think Dean counts there as well. Sam does have his own mind but this kind of bugs me a tiny little bit.
I liked the scene though.. probably because it had Chad Willet. :) Anyway, I still think it made clear that the brothers are everything to each other.
Dean was looking out for Sam and always will and I don't know but I would have thought that Sam at least would think Dean did care for what he wanted. But Dean always cared. That much is clear. But he was quiet again during this episode.. at least in the *now scenes* and I think it is due to the character development, same goes for Sam feeling guilty over severa lthings and tries to do as many good things as he can. He doesn't want to be evil. He is fighting so hard against the so called destiny.... We will see how that works out in the end.
Oh next week's preview... looks interesting.
ETA: YAY ratings!!!

As for Leverage, there were some good things, some things to giggle about and some things so cringe-worthy that I don't know what to think about the whole episode.
* okay, I usually don't mind Sophie but this time her accent kind of got on my nerves
* and why oh why can't get *real* German speakers (or speakers for any other languages as well)? Aren't there enough actors running around in LA?
* Thank you Christian for trying and sounding halway decent
* I didn't really get the whole emphasis on Nate's drinking problem, I mean I get it for the show in general but not with this episode in particular
* Parker on the ski lift... *laughs*
* Eliot in the office... OH my.. Toblerone and the stupid name and the HUG!!!! Yes, I still love the hug
* the case itself was okayish...
* Jonathan Frakes!!!!!! I knew he directs for the show but seeing him in such a random scene was awesome
* the way the team looked at Eliot when he suggested the thing with the second MRI? I don't knwo but it came across as if they think he is stupid most of the time
* Hardison and Eliot with the dead person and Hardison saying sorry for the needle thing.. awesome.
So yeah, all in all it was okay... I kind of liked the way the filmed it.
Happy Birthday to

Date: 2009-01-30 02:35 pm (UTC)I adore when we get to see more about the boys' past. It's a way to know them better and deeply. :)
Basically the boys were back there as they are now.
Sammy is caring, smart, generous but also easily influenced by the circumstances..
Dean is protective, he plays cool, he likes girls and he defend the family, his father's choices.. but at the end he is not really happy with the way things are..
*sighs*
Are you happy Sam?
How can he be with everything that always happens in their lives?
:(

Date: 2009-01-30 04:49 pm (UTC)There were still somethings that I didn't like all that much but there wasn't really anything to really complain about (without really digging deep).
You are right.
The boys were basically the same back then.
But is Sammy really that influenced by others? It comes across as if he really just listens to other people and not really Dean anymore.. I don't know.. *shrugs*
You are right about Dean there..
Oh boys.
Yeah.. Sammy. *sighs*
*hugs back*

I totally agree!
Also, I'm really glad I've never been to Highschool/never will. The more I hear about other schools the more I love mine. Sure, there are still the 'cool' guys and it would be weird if there weren't, but it's not that extrem. Like, at all. And I don't know a single person at my school who actually gets bullied. Back it 7th grade they were two, but that was quite a while ago. So, yay!
Sorry that I'm rambling xD
I really loved Chris in Leverage! Although the 'german' people were really awful. Even if they can't get a native speaker, they could at least get the lines right!

Date: 2009-01-30 04:55 pm (UTC)And yes, I am happy that I never experienced bullying like that. We had some idiots but those were kind of gone after 7th grade as well (and let's not talk how long that has been for me, I'll feel really old then).
I never had problems like that or knew anyone with problems like that. Not at my school and not at my Highschool, but I know it can be that way.
I totally love Chris in Leverage as well.
Btu dude, those accents get on my nerves. At least Chris got it mostly right.
*sighs*

Date: 2009-01-30 09:12 pm (UTC)Wee!Sammy was so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved how they elaborated on his feelings and showed the teacher and the influence he had on Sam. And Dean/Amanda confrontation was so touching... I felt sorry for Dean.
Jensen in the red tracksuit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *love*

Date: 2009-01-31 02:24 am (UTC)Yes, wee!Sammy was awesome. I totally loved him there.
Jensen!!! LOL

Date: 2009-01-31 12:49 am (UTC)And Leverage? I had a total-Buffy-relapse. One of the guests I think was in Buffy way back when. Hit me strong and I kept giggling all through it.
SHOWS. LOVE THEM. And I have a hankering for Toblerone now.
no subject
Date: 2009-01-31 02:25 am (UTC)LOL, it was Danny Strong that was on Buffy.. and yes I had some sort of flashback as well...
But then there as Chris and a cameo by Jonathan Frakes and I squeed about that.
Toblerone.. I haven't had it in ages... I should buy some again.

Date: 2009-01-31 11:00 pm (UTC)I wholeheartedly agree. I've loved Colin Ford since he was first introduced as wee!Sammy. Because, he's just so Sam, it's incredible. Really really hope we'll see him again. :)
Wjat about Dean. I think Dean counts there as well. Sam does have his own mind but this kind of bugs me a tiny little bit.
Yeah, me too. So yeah, it was a Sam-centric episode, which is perfectly fine (we had a Dean-centric one with 4.03 already), so we didn't get to see that much of Dean. But I don't know, I kind of had the feeling they depicted the relationship between wee!Sam and wee!Dean a little ... sketchily? Like, okay, Dean wants to kick the living shit out of Sam's bully, but I kind of missed the interaction between the boys a little.
no subject
Date: 2009-02-01 02:15 pm (UTC)Oh I love both brothers equally, I can never decide whom to pick anyway, so I am okay with ever brotherly interaction I can get. But you are right, this was a little sketchy in a way I can't really pin down.
I really like this episode but sometimes I thought the dynamic was a little off or so.
