Now I know why my DVDs have been a week late. those idiots sent it via Auckland! WTF??? I mean I live in the total opposite direction. So my DVDs have traveled the world now. Why would they send DVDs from in the middle of the US westwards to New Zealand when they are supposed to be headed east? Awesome. *headdesk*
Well now I at least have a New Zealand postal service sticker.

Spent the whole day trying to set my grandpa's new printer up. And now I can't speak anymore due to all the explainig I had to do.
And it's not really working.. bah.
Anyway that prevented me from opening one of my birthday gifts which I got today. Did that just now.
COW CUPS! Two of them. YAY. And a mouse pad with SHEEP!!!
God, I am so five right now.

So I finally got to see POTC: AWE and I am actually quite surprised how much I liked it. A lot more than the second part. I am not going to write a review because I can barely type anything coherent. I am dead tired and I have no idea why because I actually slept pretty good. Anyway, the film was fun to watch and it had pretty good scenes. I liked it. Yes, I know not very elaborate and all.. but I am not really able to come up with more... Just that I totally dig that Scottish accent one of the soldiers had. Haven't heard that in a while.
[livejournal.com profile] sandrine has a rather nice post about the film and all, ( btw thanks again for driving me home ;)).

In other news I tried to renew my klete domain and well it went okay, even with the old passwords and so on bit then when I hit *process this order* nothing happened. No site loaded and I didn't get a confirmation email, so I guess it don't work out. I wrote a helpdesk ticket and now just have to wait and see. I either have to do it again and hope it might work then or give it up (which I actually don't want to). Clueless as ever. Meh, I hate that.
on with the drama but hey it has a happy ending ) Just didn't want to bore you with the details.

****
On to good news then: Amazon.com has Supernatural Season 2 box set on pre-order now. I'll wait a bit, like last time. Lower price would be nice as well. And if I am lucky enough I'll have it at my birthday.

Nothing more to say today.
I am tired!

Papers 0
Me 1
I actually managed it. One of three finished.
In other news, I'll be away this weekend (from Friday to Tuesday). I don't know if I'll have internet. Grandparents and me are going up to the Sea, surprise for my mum.
So since I got the paper done and am almost finished with the other smaller one, I guess I can take some days off (I will of course take uni stuff with me).
But the best thing is, that it is so typical for me: the weekend I am not home Klete swims at the Speedo Grand Challenge in Irvine.
First meet he swims as a Trojan again and I'll probably miss it. Meh, I want to see how he is doing with Dave as a coach.
Shows how much my timing sucks.

Even though it's a sucky date I'll have to mark Sep. 11th in my calendar.
It's the supposed release date for the SPN Season 2 DVD box (so I might have it at my birthday, like I did last year with the season one box).
Anyway GAG REEL! and commentary. I am bouncing, yes.

Am desperately trying not to think about the Kane gig, that's why I am watching/watched Veronica Mars and Champs League at the same time.
Man, that was a weird mixture.. Uhu...

I think it says a lot about a show and the dvd extras (or the fans in this case. Shut up.) when said DVDs rank #15 in the top seller list before the dvds are even released. Pre-oders are fun.
One day to go (and probably another two or three weeks before I have them).

And yes I am bored. Even though it is Monday and I should be working on press releases and other stuff but no one is here and I have no idea what I am supposed to do. I think I'll read some more and send recs to myself.

So I'll have the apartment all to myslef for the next 10 days. Hmm, I think I should start on papers or other stuff because being alone at home without having much to do sounds very depressing. Well, I could try and sleep the rest of the flu off.

I need a cat.

Back to work tomorrow. I don't want to. I still don't really feel like sitting 8 hours in an office. But hey only two weeks to go. Chaos reigns now even more than before.
I spend my days either with delivering some newspapers around where I live or in bed with nice tea and ice cream and Daniel/Vala recs [livejournal.com profile] slippery_fish sent me or with staring at pictures of certain actors. And I actually managed to update APO. Yay me.
I am tired and exhausted and I don't even know why. I guess I am still worrying about some things too much (I wish I would get an answer concerning my social pension, I mean it is only a month left now and I re-applied like 3 weeks ago).

Anyway, I am so looking forward to the SPN DVD box. The screencaps alone have me smiling all crazy and happy. Can they be more obvious? It's just cute, way too cute.
Pre-ordered and they should get to me somewhen around Sep 21st up to October 5th (I hope sooner than later). This just makes me happy.

Oh another thing making me happy is that the laptop is working again. Yay. All files lost and I have to re-install everything (really every single thing) but anyway I can read/play my DVDs again (okay most of them, need to install some drivers). And that actually means a lot to me. I think won't ever go online with my laptop again but I still have it, so that is nice to know. Thank God.

So it seems to be official (or become it today). *bounces*. I just hope I am not happy too early. The real official announcement isn't out yet. but a lot of up-fronts mention it anyway.
