All my thoughts and good vibes go out to
mama24!
I wish I could send along the hugs I got from four incredibly sweet Irish guys yesterday.
So yeah yesterday was a really weird day and today I feel blah about everything.
At least listening to Westlife and to know how sweet those guys are is making it okay.
Also spending the afternoon today with my friends did wonders, too.

movies and such things
Mar. 12th, 2009 04:01 pmYesterday I met up with J and C (who generously sponsored my ticket. Thank you girls! *hugs*) to see Watchmen.
And even thoiugh this movie is long and has a lot of things to tell I liked it... a lot even. I am nto really awake enough to write anything remotely recognisable as a review but I did make some notes.
( Spoiler for Watchmen ).
So not a real review. I just kind of woke up and I am still a little dizzy with sleep.
I only went to bed around 4am, because I couldn't fall asleep, which was weird sinvce I nearly missed my train stop on the way home because I was about to fall alseep. I guess a ride on the bike during 1am in the cold makes you wake up pretty fast, but I hate to walk home from the station so I always have my bike waiting for me there.
I spent the night watch the day's reruns of Life (which started here on TV early that evening and which I actually like. It's a good show to watch that late ebcause you are still able to grasp the concept despite being tired as hell) and Torchwood (which started as well and which I have seen a number of times already. I have to say the dubbing is not as bad I thought it would be. I have to find out who Jack's and Ianto's voices are, I know them).
I feel the urge to rewatch all of Torchwood now. *sighs*
***
Later today I'll be off to J's place to have our long planned *serial killer evening*, and I am aware of how that sounds. It's nothing bad though, just watching some movie and TV show episodes.
I am actually glad we are doing that today because I am kinda of stuck with some things again and I have the slight hope that one day away from things will make it easier to get back into it.
So not being home means I'll probably watch SPN a little later than usual (but there will still be a review... I can't go without my notes on that show. :)).
I am looking forward to it, it's the first time since season 2 that I am only minimally spoiled and so far I like it that way.
***
I on the way to finally finish my
whenboymeetsboy fic.
First part is already with the beta and I am working on finsihing the second part.
I have no idea how this thing got so huge. I only had to start three times with it and I just wanted to have the word count and be done with it.
Now it's on the way to being epic and I don't really want that.
***
The best news I got yesterday is that
anjaliss booked her flight for June to come up and visit me. I am so excited. We haven't seen each other in almost two years.
It will be so awesome. We have been making plans on what to do for ages now.
Wheee.

ETA: Is it me or is LJ not loading icons? I am not sure if it's me or not since it doesn't work in any browser I open.
*shrugs*
Bloody computer.
ETA2 And why the hell did my entry move up on my flist? There I go, leaving my LJ alone and my entries moves? WTF? I only unlocked it like half an hour ago, nothing more.

things to do and things to say
Aug. 13th, 2008 01:10 amFirst things first, since it is already after midnight here and since I don't know if I'll be online during the day:
Happy Birthday
benitle!
Have a great day!
***
Had a lovely afternoon/evening with
sandrine.
We met up to watch Mamma Mia!, which turned out to be funny and good. I still have some of the songs running on repeat in my head.
It took me some time to recognize Amanda Seyfried. I mean I know it was her but I couldn't remember where I had seen her before. Great singing voice.
Colin Firth was awesome. And I even oculd stand to watch Pierce Brosnan (even with a voice like that. It was decent when he was singing with Meryl Streep).
Meryl Streep's voice surprised me.
Got some drinks afterwards and generally enjoyed the atmosphere of the Sony Center.
Until my grandpa called just tot tell me that my mum had managed to close herself out of the apartment.
D'uh. She was waiting in the car until I got there, 1 1/2 hours later.
LJ is not letting me comment.
It's not loading.
Dammit.

I think my cat forgave me
Oct. 16th, 2007 03:04 pmShe is at least playing with me and cuddling up every chance she gets.
So being away for a night is not a problem, good to know. Anyway, some pics just because I can and yes my camera is still broken (so all a bit blurry).
( Kitty ). The date is obviously not right (I took the pics today).
Spent the night at Josi's place because I didn't want to drive home after her birthday party. The party was the gathering of the usual crowd (which is always fun) with food and drinks and talking and so on. I think we were quite silly, but hey that's nothing new. Talking through half of the night isn't new either but right now I am tired. Anyway, I had a good time yesterday.
So me being at a party last night and being tired now was the best excuse the send of brother-dear (who surprisingly showed up today, I have no idea why) in search of food.

This weather is annoying. You can't stay inside without melting and outside it's either raining or tropically warm. But yesterday was kind of okay to be outside. Spent the afternoon with
sandrine, outside drinking coffee, going through shops (I spent way too much money) and then watching a very slashy "Let's Dance".
I was home around 1.00 am and well I felt bad for not doing anything uniwise so I started to work on the last part of one of the papers, which then resulted in me being awake until 7. So I slept most of the day but at least I have got some of the stuff done.
Anyway I managed to watch Dr.Who right after I was home.
And eeep Jack.
But otherwhise I am not really sure what to think.
Now I am waiting for my mum to come home so that I can go to bed again. I actually want to get the uni stuff really finished tomorrow, so I need to get up early.

usual ramblings and yeah.. Supernatural
Jan. 13th, 2007 02:10 pmJosi and me met up with Claudia after uni last night. The conclusion that we are all crazy is nothing new and will probably never change, but that we can totally lose it, is actually a newer notion. Anyway, keywords are handporn, fandom, threaths to lives and stories and icons, mocking of fanish loves and obsessions and so on.
Since I am so bad at remembering all the good stuff and
slippery_fish has it all anyway, read it at her journal.
And on the way home I again was privileged to experience the non-information politics of the S-Bahn (namely DB). They actualyl think that when they close up half of the train netowrk every second weekend that people will get used to it and that they won't need to put up info after three or four weekends anymore. You know, I don't think they are aware of the fact that there are "different" passengers (people getting pissed at them) every weekend. It would have been nice to actually see info charts before I had to change from train to bus and not after I was actually at my home station. It would have been nice to have those when I left home and actually was at train stations on my way to uni. So it took more almost an hour to get home instead of 20 minutes. Argh...
***
On to the nicer parts again... Supernatural is back! This was what I needed after my odysee home, so I watche dit last night before I went to bed. I don't know if this was a good idea though. I had weird dreams, but at least I slept. I feel considerably awake now, despite the dreams. Anyway, SPN is back and the ratings seems to go back up again. Might be the eps getting better and well hiatus is over... So I hope things are looking okay.

Wow, LJ is back....
So here we go:
I seem to be unable to get things organized or at least make them less stressfull. Anyway, this week wasn't as stressy as the last one but it came close and I still feel like I haven't done anything useful. Oh and since LJ seems to have gone and vanished I have some time to actually sit down and write this entry. And it figures that when I am online no one else is.. hehe. Anyway, back to last week, before I really forget everything I wanted to write (not that is matters).
So Wednesday was spent mostly on trains since my prof at uni just doesn't know the concept of 90 minute classes. So I went to uni, spent like 40 minutes there to get sorted into working groups, went back to the station, caught the totally late express train (which was good for me, no waiting another 40 minutes at the station), went home, changed clothes because it was freezing (Hell it isn't winter yet and it started snowing for god's sake), went back to my station to go on a train to meet up with Claudia. She had a free press ticket for Aida and since I had time and was curious enough I said I'd come along. I am not really a Musical fan, and not at all of German versions, but this one really surprised me. And I liked it. I like the music and the acting. t was a really nice evening (despite the fact that we both kinda shivered through it).
So I was actually thinking about skipping uni on Thursday because I really needed a day to sleep but when I came home Wednesday my Mum presented me an appointment for a lung specialist. So I went. Which resulted in me having a camera shoved down my throat, the doc telling my lungs are scared and that I sghould watch out and better never cath pneumonia (d'uh I think I have to get away from all the infected people I am haning around with). I think I will do that, not that I planned on getting it. Anyway, spent the rest of the day sleeping and reading and watching DVDs. So yeah at least half a day to relax.
Yesterday was spent at Claudia's place.
slippery_fish and I invaded it again. And I think it is common knowledge that we are crazy but I think sometimes we kind of over do it. Just a bit. It's fun though and I think I am still a shipper of a pairing I never ever in my wildest dreams would have thought of supporting/shipping (and I am still getting seasick and it's all YOUR fault. You know who is meant). Anyway, we wathced The Descent and I think as much as I like caves and stuff my claustrophobic tendendcies have doubled now. *shudders*
Today Halloween Party (and I will so cheer on my SPN obsession *nods*) and my cousin's birthday tomorrow. So full weekend and I am about to fall asleep again... And since LJ still is n't back I am going to rant on this weeks SPN ep now and got to answer mails afterwards.
****
So Supernatural this week. Spoilers ahead.
No Exit kinda disappointed me and I am not sure why. I think this one was the first ep of the 2nd season I partially fast forwarded, mostly due to that fact that I didn't want to see the scenes at 2 in the morning while being as tired as I was. I think I will rewatch it again, and maybe then my oppion will change a bit. For now though I think ( I am happy that this was the last Jo ep for a while )
I am looking forward to next week.. Because JASON GEDRICK!!!!
So SPN tied The OC season premier in ratings. Not bad for SPN, a drama for the OC and FOX though.

Do my entries get longer and longer now? I have no idea what's up with that though. I guess I am just lazy as hell some days.

Nothing, really ... just spent money.
Oct. 4th, 2006 04:09 pmSo I brought the mp3 player back to the store and got a new one. Seems like this one works. Even the radio does. Hopefully it'll stay like that.
While being there I used my gift certificates I got from my grandparents.
slippery_fish, I got "Les amants criminelles". :)
Some pictures of my birthday presents. Yes I was extremely bored today and I ecen started with my paper. See how bored I am?)
( Piccies )
As for birthday presents, got my mum hers but still have to find some more.
slippery_fish you have to help me a bit.
3 options: - your favourite (slashy) Bollywood film, Keanu Reeves movie (I guess you know which one), or some kind of cosmetic stuff (you have been rambling about, to me at least :P, I just say Hair stuff). Tell me so I can decide, you know how bad I am with things like that.
sandrine, well I am still trying to come up with an idea (I guess I just had one). Anyway, I am looking for Blonde and will yell when I have it.

Back to the paper. God, I hate it, with vengeance.
Or I'll just go back to rewatching season one of SPN.
