Saturday was party time. Claudia, Josi and me joined the usual crowd to enjoy the annual Halloween party. It was fun and despite my back and all the pain meds I was on I had a good time. The dancing I could do did me good.. surprisingly so. No alcohol for me (okay one little Vodka orange but tahtw a sit). You might have thought I was sober but yeah... I think I blame the meds and be done with it. It was fun though, even if I still hate seeing myself on photos (and there are many now).
Sunday, despite being home at 4am (okay it was three am, daylight saving time being switched off and so on), we met up again at Claudia's place (Josi and me that is). I think I managed to have the worst choking/breathing attacked I had in years. My throat still hurts (my back, too but that is old news now). Anyway, discussing fandom and F1 is always fun.. and well being with friends.
On the way home Josi and me had an amazing timing. It was the last day of the "Festival of Lights" and the ended it with huge and beautiful fireworks in the middle of the city.
So with the weekend being packed and getting up early today to get my new ID card I didn't get much sleep. Not that I could sleep through the night with my back and not being able to move properly.
And I still can't figure out how to get Sam online since the guy in the internet shop doesn't really know how to work the new (and improved *snorts) helpline either. Dammit.
Lesson of the day: never try to buy someting which has been advertised all over the city. It's not there anymore. *headdesk*.
