The Hardy Boys. That's their nickname among the demons. That is sort of funny.
Crowley isn't so stupid to step on the trap. He shoots his own demons though.

I like how the boys don't really know what to do or how to react. Sam's face when he takes the Colt. And then he shoots Crowley. Well not really but good try there Sammy.

God, is it January yet? I want to know how it goes on. One question though, what exactly did Castiel do in this episode? Did he have a function otzher than talking to Lucifer? He didn't really workt he plot all that much so I am wondering if I missed somehting important. Hmmm..
I am so not going to touch the misogyny topic here since it really wouldn't do any good. This was so clearly a plot device that I don't even know how to take it.
But it made me cry. Yes, I had tears in my eyes because this was so damn heartbreaking the way it happened. The way it was played was great though and it worked for me. But then in the end it really seems as if they died for nothing. I mean.. really? Sam and Dean didn't manage to get the one thing done they wanted to achieve with all this and Sam gets to hear a nice little speech that might or might not have him manipulated in the right way. But at least Jo's and Ellen's story has some end after all. They didn't just vanish but went in a way I think was mostly kick ass.
Sam and Dean doing things together. I think this is the way it should be but I also know that it might not stay like this. Or maybe it will and that will be the reason why the whole Lucifer vs Michael thing might not take place the way everyone seems to be working towards. I want to know what will happen.. like right now.
Anyway, this was indeed epic and I love my show.
This was so utterly Supernatural that I have not much to complain about.
I have to rush off to uni now but I think I'll add more to this later, when I have thought about it properly.

I can only think that at least for this Christmas Sam is still Sam and Dean is there with him and they are doing things together.... :/ I guess the only things that can save us is counting on the boys' relationship and on Sam's learnt lessons.... at leaast this time.... :/

(That could possibly sound dirty...) Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it and it was distracting! But he did get the "I can't use this vessel forever" thing and stuff, right? And I also agree with the comment above, that he just needed to be gone for a while.
misogyny? really? maybe i am just a little blind to it (i never saw "hatred" against black people or women before when everyone was screaming bloody murder *lol*), but i really didn't notice that.

The thing is that I only sort of see it.
Sometimes, with this show, you can actually bet on who is dying and it usually happens. It's often the women or the 'bad' black guys. But then it never really bothered me all that much. In this episode I felt it to be obvious but it was a move that gave the boys something to mourn about, to go on fighting maybe so it was actually sort of needed. I know it's a hot topic with people, so I am rather glad I am not seeing it most of the times either. *shrugs* Maybe it was just this ep or something...

But I agree, I don't know either if it was a smart move to kill the women that were liked... would only work if the plan to never introduce any other women like that in the future. Comparisons would suck a lot.

If they don't have women on the show, people scream inequality. Once they do have women on the show, people scream about them only being introduced as love interests and/or to be killed off. I seriously wouldn't want to be a writer trying to pick the lesser evil there.
