the_milky_wayOkay, since I am still all flaily this migth be a bit incoherent (and I am dead tired but yeah).
I haven't commented on any of the reviews on my flist (not yet anyway), no idea if I'll go back and go through them all.

I love how Dean tries to talk them out of the situation and just rambles. That's so Dean.

Sam, it might be a good idea not to lie to Dean. Dean knows it anyway.
It's kind of obvious that Dean is just resigned about it all now and well he treis to ask Sam but Sam is still lying to him.
Sam realy, really thinks he is doing the right thing.
What is it about the road to hell being paved with good intentions? Yes, this seems to be the tag line of this season.

All I can say is "OH Boys" over and over again.
So the local reaper has been kidnapped because of somehting that is in the Book of Revelations? So not good.

I don't know but it kind of makes him even more human.
He does feel guilty abiout it though.
It's interesting that he has no powers in his astral form, which means his soul is unaffected by the demon blood. Is that good or bad?
I think it is a chance for Sam.
"Are you making a move on me." How many meanings does that sentence have when you say it to a reaper.
"I wish I'd gone with you for good." Oh Dean...

Okay, I love the cultural references they had in there so far. And the boy not know who Mr. Myagi is? That made me feel old.
Sam's laugh when the boy hits Dean is kind of awesome. I love it.
"Dude, I am nto gonna play Fight Club with a 12-year-old."

It seems to be bloody cold and Sammy has to just be there in his hoodie. Poor Jared.
Alastair. So creepy.
The iron thing works with astral projections as well then.

So Pam is the major death? I have never seen her as major and seeing that they talked about a death later on I am not sure it's what they mean.

Castiel recruited Dean AND Sam? Oh okay, Castiel lied and used Bobby's voice. So this is all about lying.

Dean is scared. I think of a lot of things. Maybe even of what will become of Sam and him if things go on like that. He kind of sounds like he has a death wish?
Or it's just me looking at him when he says it will be soon that he might join the boy.

They are all scared. Sam is as well.
But dude, I am getting tired of the " the angels having somehting good for your in store" stuff.
But I think Dean knows there will be nasty stuff happening soon.

I think he is kind of on the way to realise that he might be drifting towards the wrong way even without really realising it.
I liked this episode. It was solid and it had a lot of things in that that will be going on in the future. I think it's obvious what's happening between Dean and Sam, and that both of them don't quite now how to stop it from happening and how to stop everything else from happening at the same time. They both think their ways are right, even if the insecurities and fears are standing in the way. But I think the bond between them isn't severed yet, it's still there and it still stronger than anyhting esle. They are still able to talk about things, even if not in depths and with all the truths out there, but they are still working togerher seeing that the other one is actually trying to do the right thing. It's not too late yet.
I am actually wondering if it will be all that epic in the end, I know everyone is hinting and saying things and what not but I don't know if it will ever be the cas that the band between Sam and Dean is broken completely. I doubt it (or I am just way too optimistic here).
But yes, I like the dynamic in this episode. I liked that both of them show how much they are effected by the things going, by the things that have happened. I think Dean is still too far inside himself and trying to deal with the aftermath to see that Sam is searching for a way to deal and to fight at the same time. Dean might not even see that during the time he was gone Sam had been already drifting and looking for a way to deal. They can't go back to the way they were before. That's just not possible anymore buit they might be able to find a way to be SamandDean, brothers, again without having to destroy everything first.
I actually liked seeing Tessa again. I liked that she and Dean still have chemistry and that it works for me when they talk to each other.
I am just getting a little bored of the angels stuff for Dean.- *shrugs* Oh well, we will see how that turns out in the end.
Next part is whitened out because it's a spoiler:
The only thing that I don't like about the things that I know about the 5th season sof ar is the regular status, it means that the whole angel-demon-sam-dean-face-off will be going for longer than I think is necessary. But that actualyl depends on the stories they are going to tell. I just wish they would actually take some like the actress who plays Tessa to interact with dean than that Anna-girl (I am so not looking forward to that, and it's sad that this is the one casting spoilers I know off and I don't like it.. not at all.). I am so bored by Anna and her storyline that I don't really see the necessity to bring her back other than having some to act with Dean and to show how Dean 'belongs' top the angels and Sam through being with Ruby 'belongs' to the demons. This is too mcuh I think. Too much black-and-white there. I don't know. *shrugs* I just don't like Anna because I was bored by her.
Oh and I love how Jared acted in this episode. He was great and I liked how he protrayed the conflicted emotions even when he tried not to show any or tried to be uneffected (by his own less nonetheless). Jared managed it to make Sam across as ruthless, conflicted, vulnerable, helplsee, scared and looking up to Dean again. He looked so very young in a lot of scenese there. And I liked how Sam is his own person, how Dean realised that he can't get Sam to stop if Sam doesn't see it as something he has to sop. Out of his own free will.
I liked that we got to know that the powers are connected to Sam's body but not his soul. That might actually be interesting in the future.
I haven't see the trailer for next week and I think I won't.
I liked not know what will go on in his episode. I enjoyed watching it again.
