It's time to read something else or stop entirely

I think the first sign that you have spent way too much time in front of a screen and doing research for a paper is when you start reading words wrong repeatedly.

I just sat here for several minutes wondering why a window should be upset at anybody and how it could cry. Until I realised that it was supposed to be 'widow'.
D'uh.

I guess I should stop for today.
Reading and writing. Because I keep on writing/using the wrong words as well.

Or when Word keeps telling me a word is a spelling mistake and I'm shouting at the screen and waving my fist at it for 5 minutes and then realise that yeah, poeple isn't spelled like that ;) Time to take a nap!

I so know that as well. You are so sure it's written the correct way and that the computer is so wrong and then it's "D'uh, okay I give up".
