SPN 3.13 "Ghostfacers"

the_milky_wayIt's back and I actually managed to be really awake while watching it the first time (doesn't happen all to often, but it's just one reason more to watch it several times).
Anyway I am kind of in two different minds about
Sex with girls... Oh okay.
Oh my the opening. *snorts*
Pilot season! *laughs*
That does nto look creepy-.. okay creepy in a hilarious way.
It reminds my of Mythbusters.. which yay...
I love that Dean get's blurred in the intro already. That's so Dean.
Why the hell do they think they are supposed to move like that?
Wasn't there a rule that if something is said to haunted you stay out of it? Oh right Ghostfacers...

Corbett has a crush on Ed. It's kinda sweet.
OMG the garage door. ROFTL
The Impala and the musci.... The first thing we see/hear of the guys... sweet
They really try to make it professional huh?

That really is like Blair Witch... uhm...
SAM AND DEAN!!!
And Ed recognises him... And Sam curses.. Bleeped. They get fucking bleeped.
Oh... okay.
Sam the researcher. Yeah, perfect role.
They are way too loud aren't they?
And they are the professional.
Oh Corbett, you aren't really intelligent aren't you? Poor guy.
They are like frightened chicken.
Two months. *sniffles* Dean. Sam is pissed.
"Does looking at this nightmare through a camera make you feel better or something?"
"Uh.. I... Yeah, I think so."
"Okay."
Classic Dean.
"Survival under atomic attack. An optimist." Sammy
Dean "Ew."
Sam "Ew"
After Sam's and Dean's explanation. Harry and Sam "EWWWWW."
SAM!
Dean shouting Sammy always does things to me.
Uhm Harry and Maggie? That was unexpected and so not helpful.
Dean is the like the tracher there. Breaks them up and goes back to shouting for Sammy.
Oh they are alive. And yes I very much want to wake up to Sam telling me to listen to his voice as well.
Because really who wouldn't want that?
The janitor. Cliché and creepy in a creepy way this time.
Oh Sam.
*shivers*
Oh fuck Corbett.
Cursing Dean. Thank you. That's what the guys are like. They curse and we never get to hear it...
And the finger...
Okay, that really is EW.
Damn they are seeing Corbett and Ed wanting to help him. Kinda broke my heart a little.
Not a good idea to get out of the circle. Nope.
And Ed was oblivious. Poor Corbett. Ed cries... helps to put the ghost at rest. That's sad and yeah... *sighs*
A ghost fight. OKay, that is new.
The Impala at sun set. How romantic. *snorts*
Dean's face is awesome.
Sam and Dean are their allies now? Oh well, why not... won't be the last time the cross paths.
Oh my the in memory shot was sweet.
Dean and Sam looking at each other after watching the pilot. Scooping the footage to not be exposed to the public.
And the guys still think Sam abd Dean are dicks.
Oh guys... nice way to destroy the system.
And yes of course Dean would like the show.
So yes the show is back and I think this was a good episode to start with again. But there are some things I couldn't really get into. There of course where moments of total squee and snorts and right out laughter. But you know I just had a little too few Sama nd Dean in there. Sure the ghostfacer guys were cool and made a decent story but to be honest I was bored through some of the scenes, not many of them but some. I expected more Sam and Dean but the scenes they did have were mostyl cool and so much Sam and Dean that it was an okay episode for me.
And the style? Well I know that is usually isn't one for me because I feel like I'll be getting a tick any second while watching. I don't know it was okay for this kind of epsiode but sometimes it was a little too much.
The yelling though was clearly something I wouldn't mind not ever being there again. I mean I so don't mind Dean calling for Sam but everyone else shouting at each other and that through almost the whole ep? Yes, I get that it was to show that they are matures and that Sam and dean just wanted to get them out but it still wasn't doing anything for my nerves. The calm sequences (mostly when Sam or Dean were explaining something) were okay and reasonable.
But we got Dean shout for Sammy again. I don't know why but it always gets me and I like Dean saying it but when he shouts it is always "SAMMAY". *sighs* Yes, I know random.
Not the best ep they did and not the worst, somewhere inbetween.
But what got me going was the cheerful ending of the episode follwed by the next week's trailer. There will be tears. I can see it already, because the trailer alone had me almost in tears (and not only for Dean but for Sammy as well).

Date: 2008-04-25 05:16 pm (UTC)I really did like the Hellhouse episode and it's actually my favorite, but this one...I am not so sure about it. And the ratings for that ep was the worst in like ever.
All in all, there was not enough Sam and Dean which was kinda expected but still. Can't wait for the next ep because more Dean and Sam, but also some really heavy emotional turmoil if the preview was any indicator.

So not enough Sam and Dean but at least we got Dean shouting "Sammay" more than once. I can't wait for next week either (and really I so hope it will be better with ratings again. *sighs* Every time we are back out of hiatus it goes down like a crash only to pick up again.)
