This now is a fine example to show their differences but how really good they are as actors (each in his own way). And I think I love Jim Beaver even more now.

I wonder if they did that not to only fit the different moods but to fit Dean and Sam as well. I know it's a far fetch but it seemed like Sam was in the light and Dean in the dark.
It's such a difference from what they are supposed to be (Sam being the next Boy!King, Dean saving his brother). Interesting to see that.

It can be so tricky what your mind tells you, your subconsciousness. It can be so mean. In Dean's case it's rather self-depracting.
That's the thing, he just tells himself all the bad things he wants to hear. Makes him act out though. And that scene is amazing.
Dean doesn't want to go to hell, doesn't want to die.
And becoming a Demon is his greatest fear. At least right now. And leaving Sam alone.

That's scary if I think about it. Really.
Dean's afraid. Scared like he's never been before. And he hopes Sam will safe him but he doesn't really believe in it.

I love Jensen for that I really, really do.

So was that Bela thing a dream or not? Because we never really saw them falling asleep and so on. But dude, why? Just to shock the fangirls or shock Sam or something.

This episode is what I wanted. It's Supernatural and it's good acting and it has questions answered and new questions spring up. It was more than just solid. And I really hope it did well in ratings.
Because as things stand the network has to decide what to do after the strike. I am not sure what I should think of Bela and the whole Bela-Sam scene didn't do anything for me. They don't have a lot of chemistry going on. And that was so not like Sam to be all flustered by it. He can hide things way better. And Dean not jumping at Sam being awkward? Yeah, never happening. They are way to fine tuned to overlook that. I mean Dean apparently knew what kind of dream Sam had but he usually would tease him more about it. But that was actually one of the really few things bothering me.
I really liked this epsiode and I want my show to be like that.

Preview... hmmm I am no sure I'll like the episode but I am sure as hell looking forward to Jared acting it out.

hehe. i agree with all the "oh Dean"'s and "oh boys"'s *lol*
and with the not getting Sam/Bela thing. I actually went back and watched it with my eyes open this time... and, yeah, they are really trying to push the whole Sam=Dean thing, huh? I mean, drinking in the afternoon, making out with Bela (which is something Dean wants secretly since RSAM, i'm sure of it!). But it just didn't work. Yeah, it had the element of surprise working for it, and it made the whole Bela helping the boys AGAIN- scene a bit more interesting (i didn't even listen to a word they said, because of Sammy's awkwardness), but in general... i didn't approve at all...

A few days (two or three, am not sure) ago some one posted a link to her LJ on some of the comms. It's basically just an appreciation of Jared's acting skills and how he has developed.. She says how much she appreciates both the guys and what they do actor.
The only part where it might be a tad bit flamming is when she says she is tired of people going "Jared cannot act and Jensen is everything and so much better". But she said in an intelligent mature way (not like some people). The comments are another thing though.

It's amazing about what people can get aggravated about and then argue for the hell of it.

Basically it's Jared can't act and Jensen has weight issues. And I don't really get the fandom's fascination with those topics. And there seem to be a lot of people out there who really don't like Jared, for what reason ever.

oh, i get it. i am *so* tired of hearing that myself. I am tired a million people commenting on the CW Hot Guy Poll with stuff like: "where is Dean? He is so much hotter!" and "I can't vote because there is no Dean" or people going: why isn't Jensen's screentest a DVD extra? instead of being happy to get *something* really, really interesting and awesome.
I love both of them so much and it really hurts me that people like that, who bitch and moan about Jared make me secretly wish Jensen would die a painful death just so i can go "haha, bitches!!!" (no, i don't REALLY wish for that, of course, but you know what i mean, right?)
same thing with the Jensen has weight issues? so *what* if he does? nobody ever hated him for that (in fact, everyone I know loved him even more for that) and according to fangirl logic, he is still the better actor, right?

I am so tired of it as well. I love the boys (equally) and I love them together. They both feed of each other (and maybe Jared even more from Jensen but that is okay... he is developing as an actor).
I always vote for both guys... LOL

And yes I know what you mean.. I know there are sepperate parties in fandom... I am a Dean and Sam girl... so.

The problem I have with the whole weight issue thing is that it shows what kind of contorted body view these people must have and that it seems so common. I never really see any real issues with Jensen's weight so I am a bit lost to why it sometimes is such an issue.

Oh and I don't mind those little rants... I am talkative sometimes.. ;)

i'm a Sam!girl myself, but it would never occur to me to say something like that. Usually, I am happy to read/see anything about either one of them, it just leaves a bitter aftertaste, when there is something about sam/jared and everybody keeps talking about dean/jensen as if they think the sam!fans don't deserve anything. Crazy, i know, but what can you do?

the weight issue (every time i write that i want to say: which weight issue? there is none!) is really a crazy thing. I think the problem was, that someone noticed a tiny bit of chub on his chin and belly and how much more human that little "flaw" made him. And some people started toying with the idea a bit until someone screamed bloody murder because there was this evil community in which people called Jensen fat! *gasp* and made fun of him *double gasp*
Fandom exploded.
Bottom line, you are right, it shows how screwed up some people are when it comes to weight and body image. I mean, that some girls really believed that someone with such a gorgeous body could be called *fat* and have people support her in her shows how insecure they must be.

It's strange but my mood depends on the episode. Sometimes I am more a Dean!girl, some it's more Sammy. I have my days when I want to see more of Jensen or more of Jared or just them together.
I know I am weird.

And I know what you mean that everyone is talking about one and not the other.

Weight issues are always something.. I can relate but then I am not projecting my issues on some one else, who btw would never fall into any category close to *fat* (at least not the way he is working his ass off).

Yes, it feels like it.
But I still didn't really get why Sam was so arkward when Bela showed up. I mean come on, it surely wasn't the first wet dream he had about women he knows and meets (college!). And I am sure Sam knows how to hide his feelings and emotions if he needs too. It felt off in a very peculiar way.
If Bela has chemistry with someone it's Dean.

I think Sam was so awkward because he is supposed to hate Bela? I mean, she shot him and all that (and why doesn't he hate her *more*?). I suppose his usual dreams didn't involve "bad girls" and that's what making him uncomfortable. (they may have involved taking a werewolf from behind, though...)
Plus, since Dean has become a bit moodier, i think they are trying to turn Sam into a goofball. I don't approve, I find it OOC, but Jared is so adorable doing it, that i can live with it.

and, yeah, the icon is awesome, mostly, because it wouldn't work with ANYONE else. Except Giles, maybe. *g* But Sammy really does the best "omg, i'm surrounded by idiots"/"omg, my life sucks"- sigh *g*
