I shouldn't be awake considering the fact that I spent the night with watching Torchwood (two times at least), bad telenovelas and crappy talkshows. Insomnia sucks. But I at least started on a Torchwood story (which will never be finished when it goes on like this and I keep starting things and do not finish them).
I try tro resist the urge to rewatch Torchwood right now, just came home from shopping with grandma, and am about to leave with my mum.

Anyway
Apart from the episode being good and the whole Suzie/Gewn stuff this was confusing in a way. Okay so Jack/Ianto seems to be canon now, they at least have gone way over subtext.
But I don't know if I got Ianto's last comment about the glove correctly or if I am reading that wrong.

Does that mean he knows for sure that there is a second one, or does he just suspects it.
I mean after Jack's comment that the glove has been thrown away because someone wanted to get rid of it, there must be some meaning to Ianto's comment. Right?
And well if he knows that there is a second one why should he warn Jack about it? I would suspect Ianto trying to get Lisa back, but yes after the whole engery-draining thing, he would die and Lisa would live and she still would be a cyberwoman, so Ianto wouldn't really have saved her then. And they wouldn't be together. So no point in that, I think.
So he warns Jack.
But still, Jacks look when Ianto said that about there being a second glove was.. interesting. Scared I think.
I don't know.
I don't make sense.

I should learn how to read and actually get what the written words are saying. Just so that I actually get what's going on.. D'uh Thanks Claudia ;)

Anyway Jack/Ianto... it's strange to see it really being suggested. I mean my OTP... and they do things like that. Not that we are seeing anything. Fantasy is a nice thing to play with anyway.
*sighs*

And, and... the rhyming! *snorts* They are dorks. So much. And I love it.

and I still blame it for me being hyper yesterday. Not that this has changed much today, so I am going on blaming Torchwood.

*points to the post-episode IM chat between Ianto and Jack* That should help clear things up, re: the glove.

My brain isn't functioning right now, I am stuck on Jack talking about boyfriends.

*laughs* I know the feeling. My brain has been more or less switched off since Sheppard called Rodney 'Meredith' in last week's SGA. ;P

*pets* Hey, I understand the brainfade after the Jack/Ianto scene. If my OTP would have a conversation like that, I'd probably be so stunned that I'd walked into a car.

Only if you assume that Ianto isn't lying...

*g* I'm curious to see if I can make sense of the episode...

Perhaps he is, but I can't actually see any canon proof for that theory. As far as I'm concerned, Dark!Ianto is a fanon thing.

I haven't seen the ep yet but anyway, Dark!Ianto is the only thing that makes much sense to me right now. Or Super!Recovery. Wouldn't be the first time we see that in fandom.

I mean, it's not only the Jack thing, the boy is posetively giddy right now. *blinks*

*frowns* Now, I wouldn't say he's been giddy. He's just... getting along.

Maybe they'll pick the post-Lisa trauma up again later, but I honestly believe the purpose of the scene was mostly to bring that story arc to a close. Maybe that's a cynical way of thinking, but in my experience, people who are not Joss Whedon or the writers of Vanished avoid having a story arc drag on for more than a handful of episodes. Then they get anxious, and do something rash as having the characters jump each other (Torchwood), shoot each other in a totally unclimactic way (SGA), get so confusing that no one gets the point anymore (X Files, Alias) or simply drop the arc without further explanation (House).

Wow. Look at that. Fandom turned me into a jaded bitch.

I don't know, King Ianto of the coffee kingdom sounded pretty giddy to me. I mean, I loved it, but still...*shrugs* Maybe he simply had a good day.

The thing is, I can't really say if the TW team is good with keeping storylines. Yes, they're not Joss (JOSS IS GOD), but they kept the Lisa storyline going so far. I really don't know, maybe I just want TW to be better than it is.

Wow. Look at that. Fandom turned me into a jaded bitch.

Didn't that happen to all of us?
