The laptop is working and they didn't charge anything. *hugs*

Now i need to get a new graphic card, which fortunately isn't more than 60€ for a really good one and only 45€ for the one I actually need.
I am thinking about getting a new DVD-burner as well, so I won't have problems reading data DVDs anymore.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. At least one computer is working now again.

Latin exam. Well that was easier than expected. And it was okay. Will see what that will get me but I am not too worried about it.
And considering the times I said that about an exam, I should celebrate that.

Ich auch. War in Schöneweide, ich habe mich dran erinnert,dass dort auch ein MediMarkt war. Und sie haben es sich angesehen und gemeint es war wohl ein Überlastung im System und das ein Fehlerim Bootsektor vorlag. Allerdings der Akkus ist wirklich hinüber. Würden 90€ sein. Aber solange es geht, denke ich eher and den PC.

Just out of curiosity - what was wrong with the laptop?

They said it was a minor error in the boot sector due to overload or something like that. Nothing bad. But the battery broke, so it only runs on power now.

Hm, so the battery really just lasted for 2 years even though it wasn't used much..WOW!
You can always buy a new battery on ebay btw - they are around 50-70 euros though, so not sure if it's even worth it :(

Well they said something smoked where the contacts for the battery are, so I am not even able to turn the laptop on on battery. It doesn't even show the light for battery loading anymore. So I think it isn't the battery but the contacts.
And that really isn't worth taking it to repair.
