'The Rules of Attraction' and May 1st....

Had a good day.
Met with
sandrine and we went to see ‘The Rules of Attraction’.
Well, I must admit that I actually think James van der Beek did a good job.
He can play. Whoa, what a surprise.
Not seriously, it is a good movie and I really enjoyed watching it. Now I just have to read the book. :D
And the guy who played ‘Paul’ (why do I always forget his name?)…uhm… Ian, was just great.
Got hungry after the film and searched something eatable.
It was almost like an odyssey to find something. Ended in a backyard restaurant and had pasta. Yum. And talked a lot.
Had fun.
And I made it home without being attacked by another one of those slimy macho types of men. On my way to Alexanderplatzt I was asked twice if I wanted to go out. And one of those types just got beady eyes and stared babbling something like’ Hello beauty’ and ‘Wanna come with me?’
YUCK!!
But I guess a train full of policemen and soldiers kinda suppresses such attempts.
Heh, flirting with uniformed men.
God, this guy was cute.
I know I should say it but why can’t every day be May 1st?
Without the protestants-police fights, the demolition of cafés, bars, jobs?
Tried to get out of the way of the street party in our street on my way home.
I also tried to get to newest issue of Sports Illustrated but had no success. It seems like it is impossible to get that issue here.
Damn..
It’s much too expensive to order.... For my taste. I would rather buy the Michael Phelps DVD for that money then.
But I did order my English books.
Yay.. Guess they’ll be here Monday or Tuesday.
And I just finished my translation homework. I am so good.
