Puppy dog eyes and Sam doesn't know how to convey that he's still Sam. I don't know if Dean believes him.

So is sleepy!Dean. But yes, Sam not sleeping is a little creepy.

"So you gonna just lay there staring at me?" Hehe.. Hehe.. of course.

Sam's still doing that thing with the gun and the waistband. No skin this time though...

Sam is such a dick bad!cop there. But then he's so... innocent a second later. It's confusing but it fits.

Sam the creepy stalker and he sees things.
But the bags under his eyes are not really sexy.

Oh Lucky has trouble.. and he's fast.... But so is Sam apparently.

Sam's snort and little laugh there... Om man.
"What? Soul or not? That's funny."

"Why shag up with the family? You like to play with your food? Roll over Lucky. Speak!". God, Sammy.

it's funny and all but it hurts a little as well.. God, he's been to hell and that's the whole problem here, isn't it?

And he still listens to Sam.

The family theme. Yeah, he did everything to protect them because he cares.

30 recruited skinwalkers. Infected people everywhere. Sleepers? They are supposed to turn their families.

Alphas. All around. Packs. Man, this doesn't sound good.

Dean gets through to him because he's human and tries to appeal tp the guy's human side.

Sam's hair.

And a rifle. How the hell did they get that?


Ouch Dean... ouch. The thing is, he's right. Because there is something missing that makes Sam essentially Sam. They both know it but still.. it hurts.


"Thanks Dexter. That's reassuring." Oh Dean... but yeah, Sam wouldn't have any trouble double-crossing them. Because he doesn't feel it.

Oh... oh... they have the woman and the kid... And really, oh Sam.

That is Plan B.. Just march in there and shoot. And Dean with the rifle shouldn't be this hot.

Sam.... Sam...

He's being so honest there. Yeah, he really doesn't care about anything anymore. There is his soul missing. He's just a hunter now, nothing more. Yeah, being human is harder. Of course, it is.

"I should probably going back to being him."

Dean wants his brother back. That's all he wants. And he's going to help Sam.

Yeah, it's a step.

I liked this. It was fun watching and I so dig snarky!boys. I love how Sam manages to pretend and still be Sam and then not be Sam. It's really an interesting mixture and Jared does a great job there. Both, Jared and Jensen, do a great job there. And the end of this ep was just... ouch. Sam was brutally honest because Dean asked him not to pretend anymore. Oh, I can imagine what it does to Dean to know that this is not really Sam but still wanting to protect him.

Sam wants to be Sam again. He really wants his soul back and I wonder why. I mean he doesn't care about anything anymore but maybe his memories and instincts are enough to make him want to be human again. And well, he made me laugh again, which is good. Also, he can be such a dick now and it's still kinda okay with me. Oh Sammy.

The end also showed how fucked up they really are and in what kind of bad situation they are in. But Dean isn't getting angry, just accepts it for what it is and well, I guess he'll help Sam after all. I feel like they changed the POV in the last few eps, away from just Dean to both of the boy's. I don't know if it's just me here but it feels like it. This is about the brothers again, about them being in it together.

Also.. OMG the preview???? *snorts* I can't just... LOL

it was an okay episode. A bit uneventful for our concerns maybe but still okay.

I guess we couldn't ask anything else for Sam. What he said makes sense and anyway I think it's already something that he spilled it all out.
I don't understand why he would want to be his old self again since he doesn't care either way and he think he is a better hunter this way... O.o

but hey, we all want the old Sam back right?! XD

Oh I actually liked it and I don't know but I think Sam doesn't really care but he's following his instincts there and maybe those tell him that Dean needs the old!Sam back. That's at least what I think... could be wrong. :=)

I really enjoyed the last scene. It's good to finally see Soulless!Sam being honest... or, at least, I hope he was. I also hope the writers don't make this 'searching for Sam's soul' go on all season. Or, have them get it back with only a couple episodes left, just in time to fight the big bad together. Well see.

And no, you're not the only one, I also feel like there has been a shift in POV from being very Dean centric to more like both. And this Dean!girl would very much like to see more of Sam's POV :)

Eeeee, next week! lololol I can't wait :D

And yes, I hope they give him his soul back so that they can fight in the end... and give us a good season (or even show) ending. :)

Oh good, I really thought it was just me there for a while. But then I'm not reading too many reviews anymore.

As I said above maybe Sam is acting on instincts and memories.. and maybe those tell him that Dean needs the old!Sam back? Other than that? I have no idea. But I kind of like that about the show right now, I just hope it's not just a plot hole.

Yes, Jared is so having fun with this. I like that you can actually see it on screen. Well, yeah I guess there wil be man-pain of epic proportions when he gets it back.. it's Sammy after all. Right now he's fun to watch... Or maybe Jared will go a totally different route (or the writers will)
