I am sorry but even if I get lynched for this, Castiel (or maybe it's just the whole how freaking cool and hot he is) is getting on my nerves right now. Maybe I am too tired or something but I really thought I'd start to like him more the more I'll see him on the show.
I do like him on the show, it's just that there is something that irks me).
That said I really have to admit that he worked for me during this ep, yes even though I am complaining (shut up, just my feelings there). This episode was good, not the best but good and I could live with Castiel being there, but you know I expected Uriel to be more badass (they said it he would be and that was the only spoiler I had for this one). But Castiel was okay and I actually liked the scenes, and I still can't see Dean/Castiel but I get where is coming from. I really do. So yeah not really Castiel dislike from me, just my impatients wit the almighty squee.
Anyway, this episode was full of issues and some of them made me not so happy. Anyway, since my internet broke tonight I crawled back into bed with out posting my watching notes. There aren't many this time but I'll put them in here anyway.
Sammy and Halloween is never a good idea.
Oh I like the music.
Ewww razorblades.
Oh Sammy is pretty there. Oh I love how they keep on stucking the boys into suits.
Dean and his candy.
Oops, okay, the apple thing is not good.
Boiling water. Ouch.
I am sorry but I have to say it again. Suits.
"Two words. Jail Bait."
Oh Sammy, you know Dean so well.
And what did they do to Sam's hair. I mean he looks pretty but I somehow want season one hair back.
"Everything we fight. All in one place"
Great.
Oh my Dean and the candy again.
Dean would come back as a cheerleader. The dreamy look and Sam's answering look are awesome.
"Bring back memories?"
Sam, you have no idea. Glimpses of hell Dean?
Oh Sammy, all flaily and fangboyish.. Awww boy.
The handshake and Sam's face. Okay, yes this works.
The boy with the demon blood believes in angels.
"It's an honor."
They want to kill the whole city and it goes against everything Sam believes in.
And he is questioning his faith there and I kind of don't like it. Because if Sam loses faith what will he believe in when he needs it?
Dean is standing up and taking Sam's side there.
Castiel is giving them a chance to do it on their own.I think he gets why the boys need to do that.
The Impala got egged.
I kind of like how Dean is trying to reassure Sam and that he shouldn't lose his faith. It's a sudden thing but I can believe why Dean is doing it.
He needs Sam to see good things, needs Sam to have something good (other than of course himself) that might oprevent him from going dark side.
I do think that if Sam goes dark side it is because he might be disappointed with what he thought God and heaven have been doing (or not doing).
My heart broke a little though because they thoroughly messed up Sam's view of things. Not cool.
Uriel is a dick but not as badass as I expected.
True order? Huh? Okay.
And he calls them Team Winchester?
The blood? Ewww. But I get it, they are hiding.
Ouch. Way to get rid of unwanted guests.
He can't see neither Sam nor Dean.
"They used masks to hide from him. So I gave it a shot."
"You gave it a shot?"
Is Sam asking for permission to use his powers? Of course Dean doesn't want him to. Oh boys.
Zombies.
The white light again and it doesn't work on Sam. And Sam is strong when he fights with Samhain.
Oh Sammy. I know you had no choice there but yeah.... Using powers when you promised Dean not to? Not good.
And no, I don't think he had black eyes there. I saw his eyes as normal and just squeezed tight. And really why would he get balck eyes if he is set to have yellow ones anyway?
Dean is watching it again. Sam is powerful.
The headache is back, so his the blood. Oh Sammy.
He does look guilty though.
So they will kill him when Sam isn't useful to them anymore?
WTF?
Oh Uriel really is a dick. I mean he sets Sam and Dean up and it so is going to be a confrontation soon.
And Dean knows Castiel is there?
Their orders where to follow Dean? It was a test? This doesn't sound good. Not at all and I am not sure I like where it might go.
I don't know but maybe this is going a little to much into religion there.
So Castiel has doubts after all? Good to know even if it measnt hat he might give Dean a not so good advise along the way.
Okay, so this wasn't the best ep ever but a good one. I am still not sure if I like how they are handling all the stuff between the brothers and between the boys and the angels. I am not sure if I want it to go even deeper into the religious stuff. This is kind of far enough for me and they are not messing it up so far. I hope it will stay this way. I kinda liked that Sam had no choice there and the way he tried to justify it. He has doubts about himself, always had them and I think right now he isn't sure whom to trust and whom not to. He is torn between the sides and I guess that is exactly what they want to do with the show. I just hope they won't end the season with the borthers being worlds apart and not reconcilable. And if so I want them to make them to make season 5 about the brothers rejoining forces and survive the apocalypse. But thats me wishing for things and I am not spoiled enough (or at all) to know where this is going.

The Pretty.
Season four continues to keep up the quality and I like it. I like that so far there hasnt been an episode I absolutely didn't like and I like the feeling of the season, even though I do have some issues with the topics and the way they might take.
Also, next week? Oh Sammy watch out.
