Oh continuity again, it all comes back to Sam saving the world and how he came back... Interesting.

It's really just about the souls. Find Purgatory and you have souls over souls at your disposal.

The good and bad sings of humankind.

No Armageddon. They really did save the world and changed the rules.

Where is Sammy?
Castiel is lying there again. Because yeah, he has no idea how Crowley could be stay alive. Right.

So Sam's working a case and Dean's just joining him now. Interesting. Oh he's so not believing Castiel there. Dean looks like he did in season 4 when he knew Sam was up to something and he started to not trust him.

Torture and Castiel watches it all.
So Eve really is dead? Okay, that was kinda anticlimactic then.

"I. Am. Holding. Up. My. End." Of what? A deal? He made a deal with Crowley..

No nights out with the boys. LOL

Conflict of interest. Yes, indeed.
The Winchesters Guardian. That's nice. They taught him how to stand up and what to stand for.
Wow... he learned human things from watching humans.

Castiel did bring him back but not all of him. Ouch... So Sam was not feeling anyhting when he watched Dean with Lisa and Ben. It makes so much sense now.

Crowley wants them dead and Castiel doesn't. Crowley has a point when he says that he should worry. They are the Winchesters after all.

Oh I kinda like this story right now.

Demon doesn't know that Crowley is alive. The king isn't dead. Oh, okay he does know otherwise he wouldn't be there.

Dean lied to Castiel as well. And he still wants to believe that Castiel isn't in with Crowley.

True, they don't know. Sam would die for him. Ouch... They really consider Castiel family don't they?

Dean is kinda in the same situation he was in season 4. Man, that must suck so much.

Demon counterpart to Bobby Singer... LOL... That's kinda funny.

Castiel is doing anything to prevent them from finding Crowley. To protect the boys or to protect himself... wow.

This is a really high from of betrayal. Oh man, this is gonna suck when they find out.

Castiel is kinda human now, isn't he? Losing his place somehow.

Heaven is sort of a sad place isn't it?

How did Castiel come back?
No one leads them, so they are lost and they chose Castiel as a leader? They are so lost.

He wants Castiel on his side. Interesting. I want to know where this is going.

Angels are soldiers.

"Tomorrow you kneel Castiel, or you anyone with you dies." So it's about his own life.

Dean still doesn't want to believe it and when they call for him he's not showing... but he's there.

Shit... Crowley's demons. Castiel chooses to help the Winchesters in the end. He had a choice and he made it. Sign of freedom.

They apologize to Castiel. Ouch... ouch. This is not cool. Trust. And another lie from Castiel.

Look at Dean's look then.

Dean knows something is up because Castiel just revealed that he heard it all. Man, he's not good with lying directly to them.

"This is not how synergy works." LOL.

Dean during that year. Castiel was so close to bringing Dean back into it all but then didn't. Probably because Crowley showed up... Wonder what would have happened if he hadn't?

"Angel of Thursday. It's just not your day." LOL

Castiel is very arrogant there.

Hades. Wow.. Crowley changed it all now. It's boring. That's Hell indeed.

"Submit or Die. What are you? French." LOL

The Civil War was Crowley's idea? Oh man... and Castiel goes with it?

See, I knew? It is all about the souls in Purgatory. And what does Crowley get out of it?

Half the souls? Oh.

The Devil you know. This is so not good. He really is going with this. So in the end it's Castiel's fault and he did it all to protect Heaven, himself and the Winchesters.

They caught Castiel. Holy Oil.
The Winchesters are not dumb. Castiel should have known it.

Interesting imagery... one drop got through and it was Eve... yeah, I don't want to know what would happen if they really find Purgatory.

Ouch.... Sammy. His look when Castiel tells him he was the one who brought him back.

Castiel made the same mistake Dean and Sam made. Deal with Demons never end well. Never. Guess, he learned this now.

The new God and the new Devil... wow. Really Crowley, way to be a demon.

Crowley is right.. what and who is Castiel now?

Angel protection signs and he's still in there... oh okay, some things are wrong. Not cool.

Dean doesn't trust him anymore and he's asking him not to do it all... not because of him.. them.

"Next to Sam, you and Bobby are the the c,losest thing to family I have. You are like a brother to me."
Man, that hurts in certain ways. Oh Dean.

He will do everything to stop Castiel. They both know it.

That's the human side, you never know if you are doing the right thing. And well, God never really gives you a sign when you need it, right?

As said, despite my issues with Castiel and the way they have been using him this season I really liked this episode. End despite it being Castiel centered and from his POV I like dhwat we got to see. Guess it makes it less hard to understand what and why he's doing those things and where he's coming from. I sometimes think he and Sam are really quite similar, they both always act with good intentions in mind and usually try to justify their ways with the 'doing it to protect you' line. It never really works as intended. Dean is always caught between loyalty and his instincts telling him something else.

So I guess it means he sees Castiel as a brother (well he said it himself) and the same goes for Sam. I loved the scene where Castiel tells Sam the truth about him getting out of the cage.

Dean was kinda breaking my heart there, going through betrayal all over again. At least now he has Sam at his side and isn't all alone there.

All in all it was a good episode and a lot was answered.
