It was indeed sad because in the end they didn't really talk at all.. Sure they said things but they didn't talk about that in the end. It's not good.
What I don't like is that people are actually talking about hate for a character here... but it's part of the development, part of the story. Sure Sam comes across as heartless and non-feeling but do they think it's just a weakness in the plot or is it really something getting the story along??
I think both, Sam and Dean, aren't really 100% right or wrong in what they do.. Because really, they are human after all.
It totally was sooo wincesty. Not very subtle Mr, Kripke.. ;) Dean just can't be without Sam... and I think it's getting clear that Sam can't be without Dean either, because then he would lose the anchor Dean is to him.
