Yes, I know what you mean. RPS is fine, I read it and so on. That's what my writing LJ is for. But hell, I would never go and tell them about it. And I think it's just not nice to do just that. There are writer's out there who don't want to recognized and told out to the persons/things they write about. It's all a pretty delicate issue but that is exactly one of the things I find annoying about fans (especially on set or at conventions where the *objects* are in attendance). The guys might not have (so many) issues with it but you never know how someone else will react.
Not everyone has Kim Manners, who prints out stuff for his actors. On X-Files and now on SPN.
