So weekly rambling about the newest SPN episode. It's a pretty short one I think since I wrote it when I should have been sleeping and I am still not awake enough to re-watch it.
Besides having seen some episode stills I wasn't really spoiled for this episode. I think I will keep it this way for the other eps as well.
Anyway, on to
Oh... I like the beginning. It's creepy.
An ouch.
Sammy, Sammy... still trying. And so bad at lying to Dean. He is really trying so hard and is even arguing with Bobby about it. Damn, he really has a lot to deal with this season.
I am not really sure if this is good for the dynamic or not.
And Dean is still playing Sam.
It works. God, boys.
Dean is skipping out on Sam, that scene was kinda funny. But they are splitting the boys up again.
I know that this has a purpose and all but I am not happy with it. Anyway, Dean going on a solo trip to deal with everything while Sam is bnein research-geek again.
Dean's face when he sees Ben is awesome.
The cake.
OMG, the wives talking about Dean and he says Hi.. *giggles*
That is so creepy but kinda cute as well.
The way Ben is talking.. OMG *giggles more*
Dean's face and the running the bin over...
Lisa is cool.
I miss Sam though.
Oh DEAN! Talking isn't really your strength is it?
Awww, damn Dean. I know you wish it was your son. The look there.. Jensen is doing that great.
Hey there you are Sammy.
Ruby Mysterious girl. She is trying to sound like Meg isn't she? I don't know what to think about her. I still don't know where this is going.
And dude, the stuff she is telling Sam isn't news why is she trying to say it like they are?
Well, alright this is news now.
Oh something about Mary. And Sam is caught. Not telling Dean aout it though. Oh boys.
That kid is creepy. Really creepy. (reminds me a bit of the Dr. Who eps).
Sam all dressed up is hot.
It always will be hot.
Another creepy kid and bite marks.
It's not really a good thing if the kid makes you jump.
I have to admit that Dean and Ben are kinda cute together but resolving to violence at that age? Dean what are you teaching him?
Yeah, Lisa is cool. Tell him!
Yeah, Dean is a family guy but his version of a family is kinda screwed. Well, no wonder.
More creepy kids.
Oh...shit.
Kid... car.. oh.
Sam!
Sorry, a bit too few Sam in this ep but every time he is there, it's nice.
Ben acts so much like Dean but we all know that the writer's won't do that. He is saving the others first.
Like Dean would do.
Deans so wants to be a father.
"It's not my life."
Sammy researching. Just because Ruby told him to. But yeah he wants to know what it is about Mary.
Sam being pissed is hot. Like seriously hot.
So that's why she tries to sound like Meg. She is posessed. Nice twist.
But Sam working with a demon to find out what happened to him and Mary? Okay... I am a scetic I admit that.
Anyway, this episode was better than the season premier and it had a better pace as well. But I am still not really sure what to make out ofRuby Mysterious girl. It is bugging me that Sam isn't telling Dean all about it but on the other hand I get why he isn't. Dean has a lot to deal with and this is Sam's thing after all. But still.. And I don't like that they are splitting up the boys, for Dean to deal with everything and for Sam to research and work with a demon. So there is a lack of brother-brother interaction and I just hope they won't do that all season long now just to introduce the new characters (and as far as I have see the spoiler pics there will be at least two episodes ahead where they are split up again). I know it all has purpose and it is all there to develop the plot and so on but that deosn't mean I have to like it. I want to watch my show they way it is meant to be and well the brothers Winchester are the main part of it, so seeing them apart that much is okay but I don't want it to last the whole season now. I know they are using the first eps to introduce the new plot and the new characters, so it is necessary for them to show interaction between the brothers and new characters. I get that. Still, want more SamandDean.. *nods* I know, I know.. am shutting up now.
So I liked how Jensen is trying to keep Dean's emotions in check but still slips pieces to show how much Dean is affected by all of it.
I love how Jared sounds when he lets Sam get angry and irritated and all frustrated. I love his voice then.
I am neutral to Katie Cassidy right now. I am not really ready to have an opinion just yet.
Solid episode, typical for SPN with some sides which were surprising (a little at least if you weren't spoiled).
In other news, I still like watching Reaper, even though this was kind of SPN 1st season. ;)
