Before I forget everything I'll post it now. Am still impressed by Jared's acting (even after the second time around), still love Jensen's way of keeping back and still being very much present.
So from the beginning, Sam looks great in and hit me if this isn't a way of showing were he stands. Sam in white believing in angels, and wanting to have something good watching over them? That is so much symbolism it hurts but at the same time is great because he looks awesome and well it makes sense.

Dean on the bed! *giggles* The eyebrows!!! His voice! OMG.
Really, it seems like the longer the boys work together the more they seems to fall into their Texan accents (even tough Jensen tries so hard to sound like a Cali boy).
Sam: "You are enjoying this way too much and it makes me uncomfortable."

The whole motel scenes was great.
Sammy being all hopeful and talking about angels and Dean being sceptical and trying to find another reason (still a supernatural one mind you) for everything.
Their banter was cool.

Sam all puppy-dog-eyed and serious "You mean there is no such thing as unicorns?" He almost pouts.
Dean makes a face, raises eyebrows and mutters "That's cute."
The smile! Sam's smile at that. He got his brother with that.

The whole talk about the angels and why Dean isn't believing in them even though they have seen so much in their lives... Oh the boys.

Sam confessing the Dean that he is praying every day and has been for a long time. I think Dean is pretty surprised about that, I guess he never really thought about what Sam believes or even if he believes in anything.
Dean when Sam collapsed, man he was freaked because there was no explanation and Sam being all peaceful and talking about seeing an angel. This makes it even more painful to see what happens later, to see Sam reralising that Deanw as right and it was *only* a spirit.

Hello Detective Seely.

And Dean wittnessing the guy getting impaled and killed after the rape attempt definitely has a meaning. He is broken and about to crack. The way he told Sam about Mary and how wrong she was beleiving in angels because it didn't help her. All this shows that he needs a new direction, something new, something other to believe in than the fight against evil.

Sam though tries to come to terms that there might really only be Dean watching out for him and he doesn't know if this will be enough. Sam doesn't know if Dean will be enough to save him/them. He so wants to believe that there is more good in the world. It hurts to see him doubting that again. It was good to see Dean trying to come to terms with what he saw, but I have to say that it felt off. Dean's whole journey kind of felt off even though it fit in ways. I don't know... It was good episode, really good for the guys to show that they can act, especially Jared this time. . And the guys talk about unicorns. *snorts* Man, I so shouldn't have read the story.

So next week will be awesome, this time the preview looks good and I think it isn't misleading like the one for "Houses of the Holy". Oh Sam....
