Sometimes I think I shouldn't go to bed at all. Everything always happens when I am alseep.

1.
It's weird but I totally feel happy for them (even though I still don't think she is a good actress but as a person she is pretty cool. I also still want her hair.). I am sort of relieved that I am not seeing anything negative on my flist.
I am not even trying to venture into communites. Anyway, I would have thought fandom had already exploded. *shrugs* This is better.
The thing is I am not looking forward to the con for some reason, and it has more to do with fandom than with anything related to the Js.

2.
I am so looking forward to next weekend anyway. I didn't realise how much I miss seeing Live Swimming.
And I think for the first time ever this event is SOLD OUT!
Thank you very much Mr. Michael Phelps. This is going to be interesting and very full.

The Psyche sheet looks interesting and I do know more names than I thought I would. But then this event can be used as a qualification for the World Championships in December.

Also, not many Race Club guys but a mass of US teens on a huge team. Out of the 22 I know four names. Wow.

3. Not so much news as me finally realsing some things and being able to work on them. One of them is a story I have been stuck in for over a year and where I finally found a way to go back to writing it.. and all that during a dream I had last night.
So maybe sleeping isn't so bad after all.

And I am glad that people seem to hold back.. for now.

It's probably the incorrigible, pink slasher goggles-wearing and ever-optimistic tinhat in me, but I actually feel a little queasy about the engagement news. And until Jensen personally confirms it at the con, I will pretend it's not true. Just because I can and because I love my OTP. :D

Hm, maybe fandom hasn't exploded yet because it remembers what happened to Jared's engagement? That was a biiig shock back then as well, but it didn't really affect the J2 rumors eventually, did it?
Ah, I don't know, but I'm always happy when fans get along and there's no wank and defriending wars going on. After all, we're all here to have fun, so we best respect each other's opinions. :)

BTW, I'm working on the angsty J2 fic you requested.... would you be very disappointed if I ignored the engagement rumors? Oh, and would you prefer established!J2 or J2 only getting together over the course of the fic?

The thing is.. I don't care... nuch.
I have been slipping into AU world recently, so I am not so into it as I have been when the thing with Jared happened (and e ent hen it took me like two days to really get used to the thought. Jensen is happy and I like that.
Yeah J2 is still my OTP, which makes it a little weird and I am feeling a little queasy, too but mostly detached. I can't predict the future but I hope that J and D won't have to go through such a thing as Jared did.
To be honest, I think I just got used to D and therefore it it only takes me a little while to get used to the thought.

Yeah, you might be right about fandom. J2 will always be there, no matter what and I am happy about it... simply for the fact that J2 is my happy place and I'd like to have it for a while longer... or as long as I am in the fandom and can't get enough. :)
And ss long as J2 are still the best of friends in RL, I am more than happy with it.

I can't get into it and I don't see as entertainment most of the time. Just annoying.

I don't mind at all. I will ignore fic about engagements (that are not J2) because in my fic world it's still all J2. I like them getting together in the story.. :) Wheee, fic.. :)
I am working on the epicness as well... which right now is so much easier to write than anything non-AU.. :)

Ironically, it was easier for me to accept Jared getting engaged back then, because I actually thought Jared and Sandy seemed so cute and real. :D And no matter how hard I try to convince myself of the reality of Jensen and Danneel's relationship, there's always that little voice in my head that sounds so adorably confuzzled and says, "BUTBUTBUT JENSEN IS GAY!!" LOL IDEK it just is. xD

You're right - nobody can take that happy place away and their superbest friends friendship alone makes me ridiculously happy. :)

@fic: Whee, good to know! I don't know when I'll finish it. It kinda depends on how fast (or how slow...) fic!Jared and Jensen manage to grow balls and just get together. We'll see. :)

I would really, really love seeing swimming live but none of my favorites ever come here and I can't exactly afford flying to a different country just to see swimming... one day maybe though. ;)

Hehe, yeah.. I am very lucky that we do have international swim meets and that we even had the European Champs here. But I did the whole traveling to another country to see live swimming as well and it was awesome.
I hope you'll have the chance to do it.. :)
