The usual stuff

I'll get new glasses. Yay. Sales at my local optician are fun because now I get to try out the new contact lenses they have for free.
Anyway, new glasses will be ready when I am back from Italy.
I am actually almost finished with organizing the things for Italy. I know what I want to take with me, right now I am trying to compress the stuff into as few packages as I can manage.
I finally own a USB drive, which is nice because now I don't need to take that many CDs with me. It night be useful for the new computer as well ;)

The latest rumors about the Olympic Games in 2008 are kinda funny, if you ingore the heavy irony behind it.
So some Congress members want the US to boycott the Games because of the Humans rights stuff and because of the environmental and doping problems.
This will not happen but the idea alone that after NBC paid billions of dollars to have the TV rights and after NBC managed to make the morning finals happen the US would not take part in the Games at all is hilarious. I am not thinking about how much that sucks for the athletes because that's a given but ruining NBC over that would actually make the story of the Games...
Rumors are entertainment after all.

And I blame a certain person for giving me the idea that watching "King Arthur" again would be good.. Hmmmpf. *pouts*

I'm kind of appalled at Congress would be willing to punish American athletes by making them give up the chance to play at the Olympics. The only people harmed by a boycott would be the American athletes. I am not only appalled but pissed off about it.

I was awake the other night, but my most vivid memory from the film is telling my mum about fifty times, "God, he's gorgeous!"

it's never a good idea to watch any movie that involved Keira Knightley in the cast. i remembered when i was watching the movie in the theatres when it was out, "seriously i'm wasting away good money on crap like this??" hahahaha.
