spn 5.10 "Abandon all Hope"

Did they have to do it like this?

Oh Crossroads. That can't be good.

Crowley. Interesting.

He is kissing a guy. The face of the guy is hilarious though.

Castiel, on the phone to tell Dean what Crowley does. I still can't get over an angel using a phone.

Oh where did they go to? Nice symbols.

Jo. She is working with the boys. Oh I have waited to see this because the last time was sort of fucked up.

The Hardy Boys. That's their nickname among the demons. That is sort of funny.

Crowley isn't so stupid to step on the trap. He shoots his own demons though.

So he wants Lucifer dead.

Awkward Dean.

I like how the boys don't really know what to do or how to react. Sam's face when he takes the Colt. And then he shoots Crowley. Well not really but good try there Sammy.

Shots. LOL
Castiel and Ellen are doing shots. I am amused.

"It#s a trap right?"
"Sam Winchester having trust issues with the Devil. Better late than never."
"Thank you for your continued support."
"You are welcome."
Love the combo.

Dean doesn't want Sam to be there to protect him. But yeah Sam won't let him go alone. Because Sam has actually learned what happens when the yare apart.

Last night on earth speech. Yes that is exactly what he is doing. Oh Dean. That's so Dean.

Yes Jo. Thank you! I love how she rejects.

Bobby takes pictures of them. Cute.

And I don't know but I sort of dig the way Sam is laying his arm around Castiel.

"This is our liast night on earth." Thank you Castiel.

That picture is... morose.

"Nice and spooky."

Reapers. Yeah, this can't be good at all.

Creppy. This reminds me of a horror moive, I am just not sure which one.

"Hello brother."
Oh...

Castiel is caight in a ring of holy oil.

Lucifer.

He looks bad. So I guess his human vessel is not holding up well. He really does need Sam soon.

Castiel is willing to die before Lucifer takes Sam. Loyalty indeed.

Meg... with hellhounds. Not nice.

Jo. Dammit.

He calls him Sammy again.

Dean gets through to Bobby. And Bobby is keeping him focused on the taks. Someone has to do it.

Unleash Death? Another Horseman then. Oh yeah, as said beofre, this does not sound good at all.

Jos is being the reasonable one in this situation. Ouch this hurts. Dammit Kripke, why always the women?

A bomb. Hmm, that might actually work.

This is so damn heartbreaking.

Ah, so that's why he kissed her. Like a Goodbye. Ouch.

God, this... Jo dying in Ellen's arms... I told myself not to cry but... dammit Kripke.

"Last words?"
"I think I am good."
Yeah, me, too."
Their looks!!! God, the things they are saying with just looking at each other.

"You wanted to see me?"
Oh Sam.

Shit. The Colt doesn't work on Lucifer.

The speech Lucifer is giving Sam is so... manipulating.. but then telling the truth can be very much that way.

So a younger brother who got rejected by the older one? Yeah, familiar, only Dean never really rejected Sam like that.

This is not great. Not atall.

Cloud hopping pansies. Interestig way to describe angels.

Castiel's powers are gone? Ouch...

Oh Hello Death.

This is the end? Really?

The picture is so sad now. It really is war. And why does Bobby burn it?

God, is it January yet? I want to know how it goes on. One question though, what exactly did Castiel do in this episode? Did he have a function otzher than talking to Lucifer? He didn't really workt he plot all that much so I am wondering if I missed somehting important. Hmmm..
I am so not going to touch the misogyny topic here since it really wouldn't do any good. This was so clearly a plot device that I don't even know how to take it.
But it made me cry. Yes, I had tears in my eyes because this was so damn heartbreaking the way it happened. The way it was played was great though and it worked for me. But then in the end it really seems as if they died for nothing. I mean.. really? Sam and Dean didn't manage to get the one thing done they wanted to achieve with all this and Sam gets to hear a nice little speech that might or might not have him manipulated in the right way. But at least Jo's and Ellen's story has some end after all. They didn't just vanish but went in a way I think was mostly kick ass.

Sam and Dean doing things together. I think this is the way it should be but I also know that it might not stay like this. Or maybe it will and that will be the reason why the whole Lucifer vs Michael thing might not take place the way everyone seems to be working towards. I want to know what will happen.. like right now.

Anyway, this was indeed epic and I love my show.
This was so utterly Supernatural that I have not much to complain about.

I have to rush off to uni now but I think I'll add more to this later, when I have thought about it properly.

it would esplain *so* much, if he occasionally gets high!

well, they only had a certain set of characters to kill, so i can only assume that had it been Mr Harvelle and his son, they would have died the same way. (just with more snot, because real men cry with snot!) so, idk. doesn't bother me. the only problem is, that they blew up the only women fandom ever liked *lol* in hindsight, that probably wasn't too smart...

would only work if the plan to never introduce any other women like that in the future.

And then people would complain about the lack of women. I think there's no chance for them to make this right. If they don't have women on the show, people scream inequality. Once they do have women on the show, people scream about them only being introduced as love interests and/or to be killed off. I seriously wouldn't want to be a writer trying to pick the lesser evil there.
