Meme time because I was tagged by kynikey. And some answers are just the same for me so I kept them. :)
List 16 random things about yourself, then tag 16 people to do the same



01. I hate mushrooms. I used to like them but one time at summer camp we collected buckets full of them and ate them. Can't stand the taste of them anymore since then.
02. I like socks with toes. I really do and I have a lot of pairs.
03. I loved boybands when I was a teenager, but never understood the whole "I have to sream my lungs out everywhere because I don't want to listen to their music".
04. I love tea and get headaches from coffee (bit I still can drink the mixed things from World Coffee or Starbucks).
05. I prefer Coca Cola over Pepsi. (but I love VitaCola more than Coca Cola)
06. Swimming is the only sport I have never really given up on. But I was good at volleyball in high school.
07. I don't need a lot of time to memorize stuff, simple stuff though... and I have a photographic memory. I only got lost once and that was because my mum's bf didn't listen to us.
08. I can be pretty pessimistic when it comes to my own abilites. I think my friends are kind of tired of it sometimes.
09. I am good with home improvement stuff and bulding things and handy work. When I learn how to do it I can always do it.
10. English plays a much bigger role in my everyday life than German, even though I'm German and live in Germany.
11. I am not good with dealing with rejection when the rejected matter is close to my heart. I have a hard time dealing with it then.
12. I can be painfully shy when I am asked to do things I am not comfortable with. It takes me a long time to get over myself and do them.
13. I ahve no real idea where I will be in a few years because I cannot make up my mind.
14. I never know if I am a good friend or not because I always feel I do too little or I do/say the wrong things and that's why peeople stop talking to me.
15. My family is kind weird, we never know if we like each other or not.
16. Most of the time I am not sure I like my writing all that much. Most of the time I think it could be way better but I don't know how to change it.

I'll be sending out applications after this weekend and after New Year's.
I just have to see which places I can send things to and hope that one of those will turn out okay.
Really, I never thought it would be this hard to get a mini-job.
How awesome it is to get negative replies on those applications, I wonder how it will be with a *real* job. No, I am not being sarcastic, not at all.

And I really should go back to my thesis. But I am not thinking about that right now.
I still have to finish some stuff before I am actually willing to go back to the books (which I have to hand back in the 7th).

Thank you. I have been trying since October and would have though I had one by now. I just need money to tide over until I am done with uni and well actually have some money for the con.

Socks with toes? YUCK! Stuff between my toes drives me batshit crazy! And yeah, coffee is EVIL! I had the same thing with coffee that you had with mushrooms. Couldn't get it strong enough, couldn't get enough and then one day, it made me sick and that was it. Haven't had any for mmm ... about 16 years. And photographic memory? I hate you a little bit right now. SO JEALOUS!
Good luck with the applications, I'll be holding thumbs for you. It's so hard not to take the rejection personally, like they're saying there's something wrong with you instead of just saying you're wrong for the job. Totally sucks. BUT PAY THEM NO ATTENTION! And keep trying, The perfect job is just waiting for you to find it! :)
