Okay, no I really have a reason to cry. Yes, I am online from my PC, but don't ask me how long this will hold. It makes npoises it smells and that is not healthy at all.
But now the laptop refuses to work as well. It doesn't boot anymore and I have absolutely no idea what to do now. And the main reason is that I have absolutely no money to take it to the shop or something.
What sucks about that even more is that I can't watch any show or film because my PC refuses to play DVDs, and since the laptop is down...
Fuck!

I want to cry. Wait, I did already.

How am I supposed to work with that? I am all worked up over it now and I should learn Latin for my exam tomorrow. I so will fail because of this stupid computer problems.
And how am I supposed to do the Birthday Project for Aaron now? Fuck.

If you have CDs/DVDs at home - the first thing i'd do is burn all data from the PC (bookmarks, files, mail and whatnot), just in case.
And better unplug it completely when leaving, the whole smell thing sounds like actual electrical damage.

The laptop doesn't boot anymore either? Now *that* is weird, it worked just fine yesterday, right? are you trying to boot it on battery or on normal power? Does it make any sound that indicates that it is actually switching on and then crashes? Maybe you could try and start it in safe-mode. The laptop isn't that old and only did that kind of thing ONCE when I had it (and that was because of the hot weather, pure self-protection.

And the main reason is that I have absolutely no money to take it to the shop or something.

Go take the laptop to the service center in the next MediaMarkt. They usually don't charge anything to have a look at it and if it's only a minor issue, maybe they can do something about it. (I can't even count the number of times they helped me out, free of charge. They're like, Superman!)

*huggles tightly* Try to hold up, hon!

I don't know that either, but it's worth a try anyway. Try to look cute and completely clueless about computers / technical equipment, I've found that usually helps. ;)

Do you want to scare them on purpose? LOL! ;) I'm not sure if they would believe us that neither of us has any idea whatsoever how to handle a computer.

I'd offer to driver you, but alas, I was just told by the local garage, "it might break down at the next crossroad". :S

Ugh, that really sucks. You seem to attract computer problems right now. :(

HUGS!!
Sorry about your computer problems, I've dealed with this before and it's no fun.
Going to the MediaMarkt might indeed be a good idea, for they once provided me with a spare part and didn't charge it as well. Good luck!

*hugs*

If it is any help, if I was a millionairess, I'd buy you a new computer with a sparkly house and keyboard. But sadly, I am not famous yet, but I can offer more hugs and assure you that you won't fail the test.

As I said last night, let me know if you need anything :)

I just realised that I typed house instead of mouse, but thats ok. You can have a nice house when I am a millionaress too. I will invite Jensen to the housewarming party.
