LOL, maybe I just sleep too long to catch oyu online..Hehe.
Yes, I think my grandma has a lot o tell. She is 71 now and still a very active woman. So I hope to have her around for another 10 or 20 years.. :) Or even longer, who knows.
As for Berlin, a lot has changed in the lst 16 years. At the beginning you coul tell that there are/were two different parts. The Western part was more flashy, colorful and louder. The Eastern part was grey, subdued in a way (due to the lack of money and due to the way the system worked). I always now when I crossed the former border, things suddenly got dirtier and greyer. But that's not really the case anymore. Probably because a lot of things were rebuild, build new and totally changed the face of the city. And I think people changed as well. Sure you can still see differences if you really look but not as much as you still can in the rest of the country. I think that if you wouldn't know which part belongs to East and West, you couldn't tell (at leas not in the inner city, the suburbs are another thing).
*hugs* LOL, you know I could actually go without those two...*g* But yes you arer ight, we are coming up with pretty good advantages..LOL
