Damn, I totally seems to miss you on MSN these days.. Argh, I'll try to be better.

Hey, I know what you mean by asking questions. And I am glad you do so. I don't mind you asking or answering you. That's toally okay, if it helps you understand us crazy Germans a bit better.. :)
I guess can say that I have been lucky to live in two different system and in two differen states (GDR and now Germany) without having to move out of my hometown. I think it is strange sometimes to think about how my grandma lived in four different kind of states (she was born before WWII). But the older I get the more memories of how things were before get lost. People tend to only remember good things or really bad things.

LOL, you know I see really old houses every day, so when you get used to it it somehow loses the appeal. But even I love 1000 year old churches, or the oldest church in Berlin is from the 13th century and I love to look at the stones and think "Whoa, I can actually touch something that old". So I get you when you talk about going into a church. But here it is normal to just go in there and look, you don't need to pray or even be religious.

You know what must be good about having one Germany now? You get to have the world cup on both sides! And Nici Store.
(Yes, I am a shallow Aussie sometimes!)

*cuddles* See, I knew you would get the mostimportant advantages. I so know you. You are totally right. :P
