Russia's Yuri PRILUKOV improved the men's 1500m freestyle shortcourse european record at the on saturday, the third day of the four-day event. Prilukov clocked 14 minutes 35.06 seconds to beat the listed mark of by Massimiliano ROSOLINO of Italy at the shortcourse europeans in Valencia (p.r. 14:36.93, Massimiliano Rosolino, ITA, 16.12.2000).
